The Nelson Interfaith Climate Action Collaborative 

is offering a free event for the community to explore issues of peace and reconciliation with First Nations people on Saturday, September 22nd from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Guests will be Shelly Boyd, Arrow Lakes Facilitator and a drum circle from Inchelium, Washington, as well as a local author, Eileen Delehanty Pearkes.

The event will begin with a gathering around the St. Saviour’s Peace Pole on the lawn near Ward and Silica Streets. 

Conversations between First Nations and settlers will take place over refreshments. All are welcome!
