Supporting Nelson Pride – Sunday, Sept. 3rd
Nelson United Church has supported Pride by marching in the parade every Labour Day weekend for 21 years.  You are all welcome to join us next Sunday. We’ll meet at 2:30 pm at the Central School parking lot.  The parade begins at 3:00 pm, marching down Stanley Street, along Baker Street and ending at Hall Street Plaza where there’ll be a dance party celebration.

Something New
In September, we will be celebrating the end of summer with our friends at Jubilee Manor and Mountain Lake Seniors Community.  Following the regular monthly worship services on Tuesday, September 12th, we will have tea and goodies and conversation.  The Jubilee celebration will be at 10:30 (following a 10 am worship service) and the Mountain Lake celebration will be at 2:30 (following a 2 pm worship service).  It would be wonderful if some of our congregation could join those of us who regularly support these monthly worship services.  If you think you could attend one or both of the gatherings, please put it on your calendar for September 12th and plan to be there.
