We recognise the importance of providing access to our building and sharing our space with those who need venues for community and family events.

 

To make our facility available, our Church Board has developed a Facility Use Policy and rental fee schedule to support the ongoing upkeep of our "Heritage Building".

 

Nelson United Church is centrally located in the City of Nelson with street parking available in the neighbourhood.

 

Our building is wheelchair accessible and provides a handicapped parking area at the back of the building.

Service Fees and Facility Equipment Available

• Sanctuary Grand Piano - $25/event

• Sanctuary sound system - $25/event

• Technician for Live Stream/events - $125  (minimum, hourly rate of $25 after 3 hours)

• Janitorial service (after use of Sanctuary, Hall, Kitchen) - $35

• Building Key - $20 each, refundable deposit upon return of key

• Minister (other than wedding or funeral)  - $125

• Pianist / Organist - $125 (minimum)
