Sunday School is in session and we have a Nursery Room available upstairs by the balcony; a Quiet Play Centre at the front right-hand side of the sanctuary and activity packages for the children are available from the ushers.

Intergenerational Sunday:  The first Sunday of each month is Communion Sunday and is an Intergenerational Service.  Activity packages are available from the ushers.  By placing Communion at the beginning of worship the children are present for the full communion liturgy, including the breaking and pouring. Following the anthem, story and hymn they will, as usual, go to their classes for discussion and learning.

We Are An Affirming Ministry As an Affirming Ministry, we celebrate the diversity of God’s creation. We celebrate the richness of our community when we have diversity in age, gender identity, racial/cultural backgrounds, sexual orientation, ability, and family configurations. We seek to create a safe space with an open invitation to bring every aspect of your whole self into your participation in this ministry.

Just a reminder that when making announcements during the worship service, we ask that you use a microphone. This will ensure that everyone will be able to hear your announcement.

Pastoral Care Reminder
This is a reminder to please phone David or Lois in the office as soon as possible when you hear of anyone connected with the church who is sick, in hospital, or has other needs. Also, if you would like David and the Pastoral Care Team to be aware of the health issues you are enduring, please do not hesitate to contact David or Lois in the office. David must be informed so he and the Pastoral Care Team can provide pastoral care.

Postlude Quiet
In respect for those who enjoy prayerful and meditative thoughts at the end of our worship gathering, please listen quietly during the Postlude. Thank you.

Lenten Educational Study
Living the Questions Educational Series:
“Climate Change: ProFuture Faith—The Prodigal Species Comes Home”
with the Rev. Michael Dowd
begins Wednesday, March 4th at 7 pm; we’ll gather in the Fairview

Having “squandered our inheritance on profligate living” (from the parable of the prodigal son), we are a prodigal species. Industrial civilization and our insatiable appetites have us hurtling toward irreversible consequences—not in some distant future, but right now. The good news is it’s not too late. At the intersection of science, spirituality, and sustainability is a deep love of life and a passion for our posterity – a ProFuture Faith. Join eco-theologian, author, and TEDx speaker, Rev. Michael Dowd in a dynamic DVD and internet-based discussion course that bridges the gap between head and heart, science and faith. Participants will be guided on a journey that accepts what is inevitable, avoids what is futile, and be inspired to attend to what is urgent. Come home to reality. Embrace a ProFuture Faith! (From Living the Questions description of the course.) David will lead this interesting and dynamic course. The cost is $20 for the whole course (8 sessions in the 6 weeks of Lent), which begins Wednesday, March 4th at 7 pm; we’ll gather in the Fairview Room. Please let Lois or David know of your intention to attend; bring a friend… or two.

Save the Date
The World Day of Prayer Worship Service will be hosted this year by St. Saviour’s Anglican Church on Friday, March 6th at 1:00 pm.  The service itself was written by women in Zimbabwe.  It was adapted for use in Canada by the Women’s inter-church council of Canada.
