Let us pray… and when you hear the phase, “Lord God” please respond with “hear our prayers.”
Acknowledgement and praise for God
Lord God we are gather here in the name of your Son Jesus to offer up our prayers for the church, the community, the Nation and the World. We are so blessed by you to be born into this your world to witness the magnificent of your creation.
Hear our prayers dear Lord and bring healing to the hurt, comfort for the depressed and hope for the future. We live in trying times. We struggle in trying to make sense of the afflictions that weigh heavily upon us and the separation its brings. We are afraid of what might happen to us, we feel cut off from out friends and family. We need your blessings to restore us and your comfort to support us in these most uncertain times. Above all we praise you Oh Lord for all blessings of the world which flow from you. Lord God… “hear our prayers.”

Now we turn to the concerns we have in our world. We have not treated your magnificent creation well and fear for its future. We pray for your blessing of wisdom and determination to save the future of our environment and teach us to protect and respect this your gift of creation. Lord God… “hear our prayers.”
Prayers for our Congregation
Lord we turn now to those we know and those amongst us who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. You know the needs of each of these people we mention. Call upon us to help them and lessen their suffering. In Our Prayers we name all those on our Prayer List and also name those known to us… …May Grace be given… Lord God… “hear our prayers.”
God of all creation keeper of all knowledge, wisdom and power, we ask for guidance in helping us help those in need. Your greatest gift to all of us is LIFE yet the demons of poor health, lack of food and shelter diminishes the glory of that gift to many in our world. The constant battle those in need experience to sustain their life diminishes the true gift you have given. Give us the clarity of mind and the gift of wisdom to find in ourselves the love and assistance we can give to those less fortunate so they too can see the richness of life and your glory. Let us be ever mindful of the second most important law and that is to love one another.
And the People say: AMEN!
