Robyn Lamb

Robyn grew up in Nelson and studied piano and voice for almost thirty years. An alumnus of many summer youth theatre programs, she continues to act and sing in many local productions and has been the musical director for a large number of shows: some of her favourites include Mamma Mia, Into the Woods, Songs for a New World, Rock of Ages and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.

She has studied voice and piano for well over half of her life and is so grateful to be able to teach and learn from the NUC congregation. Robyn enjoys travelling, cooking, and playing many board games when not yelling about singing enthusiastically.

Robyn has worked for the organizations of GreenThumb Theatre, Black Productions, The Nelson Opera Society, Nelson History Theatre, Amy Ferguson Institute, The Capitol Theatre, and The Dance Umbrella.

For thousands of years, First Nations people have walked on this land; their relationship with the land is at the centre of their lives and spirituality. We acknowledge that the land on which Nelson United Church gathers is the traditional territories of the Sinixt and the Ktunaxa peoples and is home to many diverse indigenous persons, including the Métis. We acknowledge the injustices that indigenous people have faced and continue to face today. We commit to reconciliation, together, as children of the creator.
